New Client: Welcome to Sonoma

NeoLux is delighted to announce that it will be working with Sonoma County Tourism (SCT) in California as its PR representation in the UK&I.

SCT is one of the original forward-thinking Destination Stewardship Organisations (DSO) that has evolved its responsibilities to local communities, businesses and the environment from marketing (as a DMO) to stewardship.

Sonoma County is located just 30 miles north of San Francisco and boasts 55 miles of coastline, 425 wineries, old-growth redwoods and world-class hotels, resorts and spas. As a farm-to-table paradise, Sonoma County has been a long-standing proponent of responsible tourism through its Leave No Trace Seven Principles and Travel Kindly pledge.

What do we think makes Sonoma County great?

  1. Sonoma County is a place that has it all – epic drives, epic trees and epic wines while being a progressive wellness destination that naturally encourages visitors to reset and unwind.

  2. Several notable new hotels have opened up or relaunched over the last two years and its home to some truly best-in-class dining experiences, and of course wineries.

  3. It’s a destination that attracts visionaries - as illustrated in SCT’s Cultivated in Sonoma series. Artisans, designers, entrepreneurs and tastemakers collaborate with long-time residents and wonderful things happen!

  4. Nature is abundant - whether it’s whale watching, forest bathing among giant redwoods, cycling through vineyards, bathing in hot springs or joining one of the local gleaning movements.

  5. Sonoma County epitomises the joy of travelling - discovering the unexpected, travelling responsibly, supporting local and connecting with nature.

  6. We think the county is a must-include on any NorCal or Highway 1 roadtrip, but it’s also a destination in its own right and you’ll be rewarded if you take the time to discover the people and experiences that make Sonoma County tick.

We’ll be working with Rocket Travel Marketing to promote SCT here, combining our 14 years’ worth of knowledge and expertise in promoting California to the media and travel trade.

Watch this space for highlights of Sonoma County’s incredible experiences as the destination where ‘life opens up’.
